For me, this work embodies an image born in my imagination—a human or a marine being that personifies the spirit and elemental force of the ocean, intertwined with a human who is an inseparable part of it. It is no coincidence that this figure is oriented in multiple directions, symbolizing the ocean as constant movement—of its waters, its inhabitants, and, of course, the human who journeys across it.
